Milne Watson is crafted with carefully selected precious, semi-precious stones, glass and vintage beads, and intended to be treasured forever. The elevated, playful designs, are often inspired by nature and art, and no two pieces are created the same — each unique style is hand picked and made by Emma in Sussex.
Tell us more about your process of getting dressed in the morning, what are you considering and trying to achieve?
Pretty simple. I always start with my face ritual, I love beauty products such as serums from Wilder Botanics, face sprays from Amly and creams from Sisley. I basically live and work in a basic uniform which consists of a vest, oversized men’s shirt, and with Suzie Kondi sweat pants or vintage men’s Levi 501’s. I need to be comfortable as I am in my studio everyday beading .
What is your favourite Aimé piece?
I have a pink skirt which I have had for years and my new pinstripe shirt with my initials on.
What do you admire about how other women present themselves?
I like effortless chic monotone dressing, but always with a twist.

Tell us something about your jewellery that you think might be missed when shopping online?
I think my jewellery comes alive when seen on the skin. The colours really pop and the feel of the stones on your skin is very special.
Which is your most treasured piece of Milne Watson jewellery? Is there a particular stone you cherish and why?
I love my Sa Tanca necklace. It was one of the first pieces I made with precious and semi precious stones. I taught myself how to thread all the stones together and it’s named after my favourite restaurant in Mallorca.

Is there a piece from your collection you often gift friends and family?
No. Gifting is a very personal process for me. So it depends on the person!
Why should women buy jewellery for themselves?
I’m not sure they should always buy it for themselves! I love it when a husband or partner emails asking me to make a bespoke piece for their loved one, they often give me personal details that help me create that very special one off piece.
